1. Trading terms and conditions
1.1 Prices, currency and tax
All goods are billed in UK Pounds Sterling.
For payments by Paypal or credit/debit card the actual currency conversion rate is
determined by Paypal or the issuing bank at the time you confirm your order.
Prices include VAT (UK sales tax, VAT registration number GB128387154) by default, residents outside of the United Kingdom can display VAT-free prices by creating an account and logging in.
For non-UK customers import tax and sales duty may be imposed
by the Customs Department of your country and this must be paid
by you before receiving your goods. Ashley Iles EORI number is GB128387154000. We recommend you research the tax/duty to be paid before placing an order.
Our prices are reviewed periodically and may change without notice.
1.1.1 Age Restricted Items
Please note that items such as carving knives and axes cannot legally be sold or delivered to anyone under the age of 18. By placing your order, you are confirming you and the product recipient are over the age of 18 years. If your order contains a restricted item Ashley Iles will verify your age before despatching your order, which may involve them contacting you for proof of age.
1.2 Ordering
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from this website and have a sufficient level of training to use the tools safely. You are deemed to have placed an order by ordering via our online
checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors.
An order acknowledgement will be emailed to you, detailing the products you have ordered and total cost in Pounds Sterling.
Acceptance of an order takes place only when the order is despatched, which will be confirmed by email. Once your order has been despatched the
purchase
contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately. An order can be cancelled before despatch either by you or us.
An order may be refused: a) where goods are not available;
b) where authorisation for your payment cannot be obtained;
c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or
d) if you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in these terms and conditions.
1.3 Title & Payment
Goods are supplied by and remain the property of Ashley Iles (Edge Tools) Ltd until they are fully
paid for, acceptable payment methods include Paypal, credit/debit card, cheque drawn
on a UK bank or direct bank credit. Your payment is always directly to Ashley Iles' account. Goods are not despatched until
payment has
fully
cleared which can take up to 5 working days. You will be promptly refunded should an order be cancelled.
1.4 Shipping
Your order will be posted by the most suitable method
which includes Royal Mail services and delivery by courier.
Orders are subject to availability and will be despatched as soon as possible but please allow up to 28 working days from us receiving cleared payment. For

1.5 Returns
All products are sold with the Ashley Iles 100% satisfaction guarantee, if you are not happy with
any purchased product please contact
them within 14 days of receipt stating the problem. All products are guaranteed by Ashley Iles during your lifetime against faulty manufacturing or
materials
and again, please contact them if you find any such fault so return procedures can be explained.

1.6 Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Regulations 2015
Ashley Iles want you to be 100% satisfied with any products purchased from them, in the unlikely event you are not happy simply contact them to arrange
for a refund or replacement as you wish. In the even more unlikely event you remain dissatisfied you can freely contact the following organisations for alternative dispute resolution-

Ashley Iles reserve the right to challenge the legal standing of a transaction
under sufficient circumstances. In such case the user will be
contacted individually to confirm his/her identity and age.
Failure to verify a user's identity and age can result in cancelling
the challenged order. A challenged order is open for validation
for 30 days after the transaction.
