TOOL RESTORATION / RESHARPENING SERVICE FOR UK CUSTOMERS
Ashley Iles offer a regrind, sharpening and restoration service for your woodworking tools.
The cost of this service depends on whether the tool is one of theirs (marked ASHLEY ILES on the blade) or not and how much blade restoration is needed. Ashley Iles tools are sharpened free, subject to a return P&P cost of £3.60 including VAT per tool.
Please choose the level of service needed using the drop-down list above. The factory machinery is set up to service Ashley Iles tools, other makes can be processed for a small extra charge to cover set up time. Gouges are normally ground out-cannel but can be ground in-cannel if you specify this above.
You can either post your tools to the factory (see below for address) or bring them along to a woodworking show.

About the restoration service
This service covers turning tools, carving gouges and "V" tools plus bevel edge chisels. If a blade requires more than a simple sharpen ie it is rusty or badly chipped, choose the "blade restoration" service. Re-hardening/tempering may be possible at extra cost, please contact us for a quotation.
