Chris Pye Deep Undercutter Set of 3 Tools by Ashley Iles

Chris Pye designed the undercutter tools to tidy up deep recesses (such as undercutting leaves) after the bulk of the wood has been removed.

Ashley Iles hand-forge this set of 3 tools from high carbon O1 steel, consisting of:

• the deep straight tool which bends forward at an angle of approximately 60 degrees;
  
• one which bends to the left, at the forward crank and
  
• one that bends to the right.

Each of 3 the tools are also available separately.
