Ashley Iles deliver tools to UK, USA, European Union, Australasia, Canada, Norway, Switzerland and Japan. The current pandemic has unfortunately caused reliability issues with the post to some countries which means we cannot send there. Some deliveries are also being delayed so we ask for your patience with orders. Since July 2021 we have been unable to send tools with handles fitted to Australia, this is a restriction placed by couriers in response to more stringent import checks on wooden items. If we attempt to post handled tools to Australia they will be returned to us or destroyed. It is with much regret we can only send unhandled tools to Australia until further notice.I live outside the United Kingdom (UK) how can I see tax-free prices?
To see prices excluding UK tax please create an account and login, our website will then adjust prices according to your country of residence. From 1st January 2021 our EU customers will not be charged UK VAT. All non-UK customers should be aware that import tax and sales duty may be imposed by the Customs Department of your country and this must be paid by you before receiving your goods. It is not possible to permanently stock the many thousands of tools Ashley Iles makes, so your tools will be finished by hand once you place your order. Our tools are hand made in England by Ashley Iles Ltd, a company founded over 60 years ago in Sheffield, England. They use the best quality M2 high speed and O1 high carbon steel, along with traditional manufacturing techniques, to produce some of the finest woodworking tools available. All tools made by Ashley Iles are unconditionally covered by their "100% satisfaction" guarantee. If any of their tools are "not for you" or is ever found to be faulty, contact them and they will promptly replace or refund as you wish. Customers need a Tool Store account so we can apply the correct sales tax to prices and you can securely access your order history etc. No payment data such as credit card details are ever held in your account. Our privacy policy states the data held in your account and what we use it for, click here to view it. Your account allows you to have different billing and shipping addresses and will remember the items you add, so you can build up an order over a number of days or weeks. If you have a PayPal account you can now use our PayPal checkout button to automatically create a Tool Store account - look for the button
