Chris Pye designed these tools along with Ashley Iles who hand forge them in their UK workshop. The range is thinner than standard tools and they have a short inner bevel so you can use them "upside down". After heavy modelling work you can use these gouges to finish off to a delicate facetted surface. To be used by hand or only very lightly with a mallet.
